It's been awhile since my last post, and I've probably just felt... at home? Ordinary? Nothing new? Same same? I don't really know but so many things have been happening within my mind and my unstable life that I probably fail to realize the great things that happen on an ordinary day here in Singapore.
After 6 months of being here, I can say that my favorite meeting point so far have been the City Hall MRT. It's very accessible to eating places, bars, or more eating places around Suntec Convention/ Mall or at Gluttons Bay by the Esplanade Theater. So as you can see, everywhere is a combination of a mall and something else(convention center, hotel, theater, etc.). Not only do I love this place because it's accessible to everywhere, but also because my bus 111 takes off from here until 1245am! So I don't really have to spend for a cab home, and it can be quite pricy at night with the additional night fare.

It's also very usual for someone who's staying in Singapore to take a trip to Malaysia. Most people would go to nearby islands while I have enjoyed going back and forth to KL to visit some friends. It's very convenient with the luxurious buses that has seats as big as that of a plane's business class. It only cost 40SGD one way for a comfortable 8 hr ride. I also recently visited Genting Highlands, the casino & theme park in Malaysia. It has the longest cable car, where it takes 15 minutes one way then you don't have anythings else to do but go back the same way. Some people might probably decide to take the hike up or down but me and my cousins+aunt decided to just enjoy the scenery from the cable car itself.

More updates of my life here in Singapore on my next entry.
